How to Partner

From passion projects to purpose-driven storytelling.

Northcurrent Studios was born from a decade of filmmaking that started under the name Chahley Studios — a one-woman production company fuelled by curiosity, grit, and a deep love for real stories.

What began with creative experiments and late-night edits slowly grew into something more serious: a calling to document the raw, the real, and the overlooked. After years of client work, self-funded projects, and learning every role on set, it became clear — the work that lit us up wasn’t polished commercials. It was people. Purpose. Place.

So, we rebranded- and turned it into an official company with the help of Simaran Hubbell.

Northcurrent Studios now exists to tell cinematic, documentary-style stories and imagery for outdoor and adventure brands who actually give a damn. We’re not here for surface-level. We’re here to help you say something that matters.

This isn’t just production. It’s a partnership — built on trust, creative risk, and the belief that your story deserves more than stock footage.

All footage and editing are created without the use of artificial intelligence.

Blood Sisters

Feature Length Documentary

Filming begins in 2027

Blood Sisters is an intimate documentary, traveling the globe to explore one of the most universal yet misunderstood aspects of the human experience: the female reproductive journey. From the hush of first blood to the silence surrounding menopause, this film will uncover how different societies approach these natural transitions—scientifically, culturally, and spiritually.

Across 7  countries, our team plans to meet with leading researchers, medical experts, educators, and women from all walks of life—gathering stories and perspectives from vastly different cultural lenses. In some places, menstruation is still considered taboo; in others, it's treated as sacred. While some societies view menopause as a loss, others celebrate it as a powerful rebirth.
